He's had a very long career for a football player. I think at this point, especially with how much success he's had, it's appropriate for a spouse to have more say in whether you continue than might be the case earlier in a career where there is clearly more to be done. What does he have left to prove to anyone? Nothing. Doesn't need the money. Honestly, he mostly risks either getting injured or looking foolish at this point, and what is the point of that?It's clear to me that he's being self-centered and not thinking very much about how this impacts his kids or his wife.[/quote]
