Lose It recommended 1200 calories for 1-2 lbs per week. But maybe I do need to bump it up a bit. Once I get to 140 I plan to add more back to help maintain.[/quote] God I’m so angry that it somehow became the new norm that we’re “supposed” to lose 1-2 pounds a week. It’s so unrealistic, unsustainable, and irresponsible for any program to promote this. 2 pounds a week is insane unless you are like, a 300 pound man. When you’re barely even overweight and trying to lose 10 pounds, you should be thinking more like 1, maaaaybe 2 pounds a MONTH. [/quote]
