DP. But there are kids that don’t even do that for religious or other reasons. So doesn’t make sense for Covid. One of my good friends didn’t get a single vaccine until her 20s and went to public school like everyone else. [/quote]

The religious exemption is for people who are Christian Scientists and forgo all medicine, like my college boyfriend, and use prayer instead. It is gross that people take advantage of this exemption because they have a fear of vaccines, when they don't have a sincere religious belief about vaccination [i]per se[/i]. Christian Scientists will even get vaccinated if they are required to by the law, they just do not choose to get them for health/faith reasons if they don't have to. [/quote]

Sorry, didn't mean to imply that your friend was taking advantage of the exemption -- my boyfriend didn't have any vaccines, either. But he had never been to the doctor and wouldn't even take aspirin. Its the people nowadays that are doing it. One person in a school might truly have a religious reason, but it is pretty rare for someone to eschew all modern medicine. [/quote]
