We just switched, and it seems not too hard? We haven't cooked tons yet though. What are the problems you have run into? I'm in for the ease of cleaning. So tired of cooked on grease and crappy grates just collecting gunk. Hated our glass top stove we had in our previous home - so hard to clean. We're still figuring out what cookware to get. Does anyone have recommendations? We're looking at an all-clad set, but haven't gotten far.
OP here. Mostly finding the right temp and needing to push multiple buttons eat time. And they weren’t real buttons - just touch here on this flat area. Like first the grilled cheese wasn’t cooking enough, then it was burning, then not cooking enough again. And adjusting the temp felt a lot harder than just turning a knob slightly. I’m in VA - I haven’t heard anything about it becoming illegal to have gas, and new construction definitely still has gas.
