I had the little smoked salmon tea sandwich at Kafe Leopold the other day and can't stop thinking about it. They're just white bread sandwiches with the crusts cut off and cut in quarters but I can't remember what all the layers were. Also there is like zero air between each layer -- not sure how they pull that off. Anyway, I can't make one. So freakin' good. Who else has these that are this good, so I don't have to drive into Georgetown? Or how do I make one at home? TIA
Their tea sandwiches are great. The wait staff are pretty good and will probably tell you what's in the sandwich if you ask. Someone on the table next to ours was eating a great-smelling pasta dish, and the server told us what was in it. I think it was the zucchini-garlic pasta.
