[/quote] I think it's that he's not the incumbent but also not Fryar and Giandomenico, who were loud candidates that weren't necessarily good candidates. So it's the anti-incumbent vote that's not willing to back the more extreme alternatives. Not that surprising at all. The current BOE is a joke and voters seem to recognize that.[/quote]
