DC Dynasty. They do individual trainings and group clinics.
I recommend Win Within over DC Dynasty (http://winwithinbaseball.com/) for a kid lacking in confidence. Win Within is very focused on long-term development for players vs Dynasty’s focus on winning and that’s reflected in both their clinics and their travel teams. My son played for both and his WW experience was much, much more positive while allowing him to become a very strong player. It’s the difference between a “build up” vs “tear down” culture. Some kids can do well with the latter, but not a player who already lacks confidence. The skills taught will be the same so look for an affirming culture.
Couldn’t disagree more. My son has played with Dynasty for over 6 years. Very focused on fundamentals and not at all focused on winning. Very weird comment. Did you actually play on a team? We have a lot of friends that play WW. They are okay, sort of halfway between Dynasty and Little League. In fact, a few years ago WW cut 50% of their team that had been playing together for years to replace them with “higher quality” players to better compete. With Dynasty, once you’re in, you’re in. 3-4 of the players on the WW team that was cut and went to Dynasty.
Hate to break it to you but our son was cut from a Dynasty team (within the last two years) - because he wasn’t “good enough” - all I can say is it’s good until it isn’t…he was cut with a week before the season started leaving us with no team to play for and ultimately missing a whole fall season - it was a mess and they handled it very poorly - I will never forgive them for the mental number they did on our son, which took him a whole year to recover from and for him to love baseball again. We are with another team now and much happier.
