I recommend Win Within over DC Dynasty (http://winwithinbaseball.com/) for a kid lacking in confidence. Win Within is very focused on long-term development for players vs Dynasty’s focus on winning and that’s reflected in both their clinics and their travel teams. My son played for both and his WW experience was much, much more positive while allowing him to become a very strong player. It’s the difference between a “build up” vs “tear down” culture. Some kids can do well with the latter, but not a player who already lacks confidence. The skills taught will be the same so look for an affirming culture.
Couldn’t disagree more. My son has played with Dynasty for over 6 years. Very focused on fundamentals and not at all focused on winning. Very weird comment. Did you actually play on a team? We have a lot of friends that play WW. They are okay, sort of halfway between Dynasty and Little League. In fact, a few years ago WW cut 50% of their team that had been playing together for years to replace them with “higher quality” players to better compete. With Dynasty, once you’re in, you’re in. 3-4 of the players on the WW team that was cut and went to Dynasty.

Their 11u club is not good.

If OP's kid is 11 now, wouldn't he be in U12? Is U12 good?
11u is 11 and under in baseball. Nonetheless, not sure what PP is talking about. All of their teams are pretty good. Some are the best in the inner loop easily.
