In case these suggestions don't work and you end up with my issue, I bought this and it works pretty well. https://www.amazon.com/fruit-fly-traps-for-indoors-mosquito-trap-bug-zapper/dp/B07B6RZP4H/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=3835CKF2YRVE3&keywords=fruit+fly+zapper+indoor&qid=1657312400&sprefix=fruit+fly+zapper%2Caps%2C76&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&smid=AWZL8ZNKMFEXO&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUE1NzgxREpHUE02VEwmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTAzMTAzMTUzOTVWSlFCOFFTQlU1JmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTAyMzk0MTgyQ1dNMzUyTFNFRElBJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ== I tried EVERYTHING to get rid of fruit flies and nothing worked. Nothing. Someone on here posted last summer that there is some type of gnat around the DMV area that comes out in warm weather and doesn't have the same lures as a fruit fly. I looked closely and this is definitely what I had. They recommended this thing above and it did help a lot.
+2 I had the same problem last summer. The pests weren't fruit flies. I think that they were fungus gnats? Anyway, I used a combination of stuff you pour down the drain, sticky traps and paper, and the Katchy to get rid of them. Thanks to the person who suggested this last summer!
