I’m a CPT, not a doctor. My rule of thumb is exercise is fine if symptoms are above the neck. Any symptoms below the neck and I rest. I’ll practice gentle yoga or walk. But nothing intense. If I’m coughing or running a fever, I dramatically decrease intensity. It goes without saying, no group exercise if you have any symptoms of covid. Even if you think it’s “just allergies”. Get tested or stay home. We just had an outbreak at the yoga studio where I teach. No one needed that.
I'd say - if you feel sick and test negative, wear a mask and don't do to a group class. I've found that people test negative in the early days of the infection, but are still contagious. Many examples of this in my own circle of friends/family
