A few schools dropped the booster for the time being, e.g. Northwestern, Cornell, Duke, Univ of Rochester, acknowledging the uselessness. I would wait as long as possible, until the school's deadline, to see what will happen with fall boosters, as last week FDA discussed new omicron bivalent versions. It's unclear whether those would be broadly recommended by CDC for younger (<50) age groups without data (as occurred with the first booster) and then mandated by colleges.[/quote]
