Winters are fairly cold where I live so the mileage rage would decrease further from about December to March.

I like the flexibility of plug-in hybrids but one concern I have is that there are more parts to worry about breaking down.  I typically keep my cars for a long time - my current car is over 15 years old.  I'm not expecting to get as long out of an electric vehicle, but at least 10 years would be nice.

Also, does anyone have any experience trying to buy an EV lately?  It's obviously not a buyer's market!  I'm hoping to get on a waitlist for a 2023 model.[/quote]
