Food bars are never a good idea, OP. SOME of their products are a ripoff. (The giant tub of perfect chocolate chip cookies.) Most of their stuff is fairly priced and very high-quality.
I bought the tub without looking at the price. Yikes! But they were excellent. I put them in a different container so we could forget about the price and just enjoy. I will buy them again for special occasions when I do not have time to bake.
DP and agreed that some of their stuff is pricey--but as in the case of the cookies, they're also so, so good that they're worth the splurge. Some of their things are bargains, such as the various Wegmans brand items (cheese, pasta sauce, yogurt, hummus--their hummus is amazing) that I feel like it evens out. Also, DH is from Western NY, so it's worth it to get some of the items local to there, like Sahlen's hot dogs. I realize that's very specific. :)
