If you don't like it, email the school board. engage@apsva.us. I don't know that it will change anything for you, but if they get feedback this is a program parents want they could change this for future years. I encourage you to apply again via lottery in 1st grade. You can still start immersion without any language background in 1st trade. I know people who moved away during kindergarten and the summer after kindergarten. I also know one family that had an older child at another ES and found it too difficult to have kids at separate elementary schools. GL![/quote]
