No, that was terrible. It meant that anyone who moved to Arlington after K had absolutely no chance at any option program. So military, state department, foreign service, lots of those families in Arlington, were unfairly disadvantaged. If a school is important enough to a family, they can keep applying each year. It’s also better for most this way, too, for everyone except those who got a low number for the lottery in K it’s a possible chance.

the mass exodus of COVID moved forward a lot of potential movers, so the people who are in and in lottery are likely not going anywhere.
#6 has a decent chance.
It would have happened by now, people have committed. Very few people are moving now that summer is here.
Isn’t the lottery annual now, so they can’t carry the #6 until 5th grade?
