AIM is Applied Investigations into Mathematics and basically covers 7th and 8th grade math in one school year (6th grade). It sounds like it’s AMP 7+ which is a slowed down articulation pattern alternative to AIM. My understanding is you could still get to Algebra in 7th after AMP 7+ but I recommend you check with the school. His map score is definitely high enough to be in AIM. [/quote]
