Hey. I’m in the process of ivf at Shady Grove. I will be doing the genetic testing and would like to know the genders of my embryos. I forgot to ask the Dr during the initial consult, but if you do genetic testing can I picked the gender at transfer? (If you disagree, please keep your opinion to yourself. It’s my embryos). There’s a reason why but I don’t want to share.
It is my understanding that you can if the embryos are roughly the same quality wise (eg - all AA graded, euploid embryos). They can find out the gender when you do the PGT-A testing. But if you wanted to transfer a mosaic over a euploid because that was your one girl/boy, I don't think the RE would be supportive.
