Hi! Would you be willing to share a little bit about your delivery experience with HC4W at VHC?  I am due later this summer with my first, and love them so far...just have no idea what to expect at the hospital! Did you use a doula? [/quote]

Delivered three kids with them. With the first two I felt like a queen. Nurses waited on me head and foot. A doula would have been completely necessary. With the third I had less attention - there were so many deliveries that day. Over all though I had a great experience. The doctors come in to check on you during labor and are there for the delivery. But the nurses do most of the work. The doctor will come check on you once or twice (I forgot) post partum and then you have a post partum appointment 6 weeks later. Over all I find them extremely competent and caring.[/quote]
