It takes less than an hours to set this up and I suspect you can do it online.  We did this with Bank of America.  It was a joint account between DC and myself but he got the debit card in his name and gets to operate it.  We also setup a savings account to hold more anything than $100.  He can transfer any money he needs to checking before using his debit card.  Protects from debit card fraud.[/quote]
