You don't always get the child you dreamed about. Make sure she is healthy, of course, but after that I ask you to love and treasure the child you have. Don't waste your energy with people who tell you that you must be doing something wrong since their kids are so quiet and compliant. Our basement got turned into a sensory zone (swings, ramps, crash pad, etc) for our sensory-seeking 9 year old. He LIKES going out in the cold and rough play because it just feels so good![/quote]
