We have quartzite and I adore it, but we have one of the "harder" ones vs. the ones that etches easily because it is like marble. So durable and lovely. Ultimately, we discarded granite because it can look dated (but some slabs are great), quartz because I worry it will look dated once people start recognizing the patterns and marble because it is too soft.[/quote]
