My mom did constantly while we were growing up and the older women relatives. Now my dad is elderly and he says it frequently to us and the grandkids. 2. DH and I do sometimes to each other but we are not overly affectionate people. We love each other but are not constantly saying it. 3. I tell my kids I love them every day when they leave for school or if I leave before them. I say it every night before bed as I’m passing their rooms since I often go to bed first.
