I think my DD is beautiful and appreciate comments from others on her appearance or disposition. I also see lots of other beautiful kids in the world. However, I've also seen quite a few not-so-attractive babies and toddlers. Do their parents recognize that, objectively speaking, their kids drew the short end on the good looks, or do they think they are gorgeous? (Who knows, maybe my own kid is one of the ugly ones and I've answered my own question!).[/quote]
