I remember reading on here about a “safer” Nair-type product (may have even been Nair) for sensitive skin that actually works. I can’t remember what the product was but it didn’t burn skin or smell horrible and actually removed hair. DD desperately wants to shave her legs, but the initial removal is proving to be difficult—she’s pretty hairy! No matter what I try—razors and thick cream, razors and thin cream, her dads hair clippers, even—nothing is removing the hair! It’s the most insane thing I’ve ever seen!
Has she looked on ebay/poshmark/etc for those discontinued shave minimizing gels? Does she let the Nair sit, then take a brand new (still sharp) Quattro (4 blade) blade to it? Try the tough beard kind.
We are attempting to shave for the first time. I’ve see a particular chemical remover recommended before but I can’t find it here now. We’ve been using the good Venus razors but she’s getting raw. There are still long hairs. And it’s like they are too flat for her dads electric clippers to remove, if that makes sense.
