Lots of families over extended on expensive housing looking to get a decent school for their kids.  Bitterly opposing any change./MAYBE, THEY DO NOT WANT CHANGE.

The hypocrisy of wealthy liberals who support progressive causes but won’t give up any of their privileges./JUST BECAUSE THEY DO NOT SUPPORT EVERY ONE OF YOUR FAVORITIES CAUSES DOES NOT MAKE YOU RIGHT.

As a result:

Net jobs losses/NO, MC HAS LOST JOBS PRECISELY BECAUSE OF THE ACTIVIST WING OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY.

Politics over constructive problem solving/MAYBE OTHERS DO NOT ACCEPT THAT WHAT YOU CONSIDER TO BE PROBLEMS TO BE REAL PROBLEMS

Kids come last in any conversation - schools, masking etc/WHILE NOT PERFECT, MCPS HAS HANDLED COVID REASONABLY WELL/WEARING A MASK HAS NEVER BOTHERED ME/I STILL WEAR ONE IN CERTAIN SITUATIONS/

Suppression of real political debate/MAYBE YOUR VISION IS NOT ACCEPTED BY MANY MC RESIDENTS

No actual progress on equity issues/WELL, IF MC WAS BETTER AT CREATING GOOD JOBS, MORE PEOPLE WOULD BE BETTER OFF.

Money down the drain on purple line- costs spiral due to selfish Chevy Chase residents/I BELIEVE PURPOSE LINE ISSUE WAS SETTLED WITH CC RESIDENTS MANY YEARS AGO.  MORE RECENT ISSUES HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM.

Eventually all the old rich white folks will die off or move to Florida- until then it’s gonna suck./I WAS NOT AWARE THAT ALL WHITE FOLKS WERE RICH OR THAT ALL RICH FOLKS WERE WHITE/REGARDLESS MC NEEDS MORE RICH PEOPLE TO PAY THE BILLS.  CA AND NY FUND THEIR PROGRAMS WITH TAXES PAID BY THE RICH (OF ALL COLORS).
