TJ is the number one school in the country but several Fairfax/northern VA high schools make the list for best in the state. The list has been post on DCUM recently.[/quote] School ranking lists have nothing to do with actual teacher quality. Everyone conflates the two, but they are completely separate things. To clarify, one can't conclude that the math teachers in Fairfax are better than the math teachers at a school lower on the list in a rural area. The rankings measure average standardized test scores, but not teacher quality.[/quote]
