My kid (2nd grade) has very high chances of getting into Level IV AAP. That’s basically the reason why we haven’t moved yet. I’m so thorn, has anyone moved outside of FC and pulled kids out of AAP with no regrets? We cannot afford private (maybe a catholic school, but even then it would be a lot).

Fairfax is implementing it.
E3 will severely water-down math for accelerated learners.
FFX is not just blue, it has become radicalized. For your child’s sake, move someplace better.
Can you please explain more please? I’m not sure I really understand what it means
Hi. I have not participated in this thread but it explains parts of the problem with E3:

True.
But that used to be true for Montgomery County, MD, until radicalized Democrats ruined that system.
The current #1 high school in the USA is TJ.
Read up on what our radical school board is doing to TJ (not to mention the rest of the schools in VA).
The bolded is true but Fairfax families are starting to wise up (hopefully) before its too late.
TJ is the number one school in the country but several Fairfax/northern VA high schools make the list for best in the state. The list has been post on DCUM recently.

Where did they move? Do you know the name of their school district?
We’re thinking Warrenton or maybe upper Loudoun (Purcellville, Lovettsville). Most of the people on this forum think that’s basically the edge of the world…My kid is definitely smart and above average, but I guess I can do extra school at home with him? While I want him to go to AAP, the idea of staying here 10+ years or probably forever at that point…😵💫
