They have a small outdoor play area. I boarded my dog there over Thanksgiving and was pleased. The facility is new and pristine, and they had multiple people supervising the dogs. Their intake paperwork is extremely detailed and they require you to do a (free) trial half or full day of daycare before boarding the first time so they know your dog’s temperament. They’re happy to show you around and answer questions. They’re in the same building as Blue Pearl Animal Hospital, so I feel like they’d have access to quick care in the event of some sort of health emergency. Okay wish they had cameras with a live feed, but I’d definitely use them again.
This is op. Thank you! Was your pet ok after? Did they settle in and how long were you gone? How old is your pup?
My dog is 4 years old and has some separation anxiety. The day we dropped him off for his trial day of daycare, they first took him to a suite to decompress and get used to the sounds before they introduced him to other dogs. He was relaxed enough that he napped. Then they introduced him to the play area and other dogs. They called me to let me know that he was doing great. He was excited when we returned to board him after his trial day of daycare, so I think he had fun. He was happy and played nicely and relaxed when he was with people and other dogs, but at night, when he was alone in his little suite, he destroyed the dog bed we brought from home. He does that at home too if we leave, so that really had nothing to do with the boarding facility. (He’s a pandemic pup who’s not used to being alone.) He stayed there for 5 nights and they even gave him his Heartgard while he was there. They were extremely friendly and happy to tell me how he was doing when I called to check in. They seemed to get to know the dogs’ personalities. The night we brought our dog home, he was thirsty and then he was a little more tired for a day or two after he came home, but he had eaten well and was in good shape.
