NO cant be beat for a food/drink trip. Add music, architecture, and rich history and you've got NO. Charleston is also very nice, but NO is a party town and if I was getting away from kids to party with DH, I'd definitely choose NO each time. The Royal Sonesta is right in the heart of the French quarter, but there are oodles of hotels to choose from that could suite your personal preferences ( from B&b style to large casino.) [/quote]
