Gray paint in every room will look dated, modern farmhouse style will look dated, but subway tile is a classic that can stand the test of time. In the brick configuration too. (I have it in vertical stacks and the traditional pattern and I’m already sick of those stacks, as an aside. But where I sparingly used herringbone, I like, and IMO herringbone is going to stand the test of time). But at the end of the day, you should do what you like![/quote]
