I'm a native speaker and I'd love for my 6-mo baby to have an opportunity to go to a Chinese Immersion School in Arlington in a few years. I know FFX and MoCo each has one such school. If you know how to get the ball rolling so to speak from a parent's perspective please share! Tks!
I'm just curious why anyone in Arlington would even want this? Sounds awfully narrow to me. That said, with the capacity issues and talk of reopening Madison Center, I think it makes sense to make that a countwide school. Certainly not Chinese immersion -- wouldn't be enough interest. But maybe like an arts school or something.
There would absolutly be enough interest. Hard to find teachers I'd assume is the real reason....
I agree. There has to be interest. i mean my neice goes to a Chinese immersion school in Chapel Hill NC. and had to enter a lottery to get in. I have to imagine that if there is interest there there would be interest here.
