I'm just curious why anyone in Arlington would even want this? Sounds awfully narrow to me.
That said, with the capacity issues and talk of reopening Madison Center, I think it makes sense to make that a countwide school. Certainly not Chinese immersion -- wouldn't be enough interest. But maybe like an arts school or something.
There would absolutly be enough interest. Hard to find teachers I'd assume is the real reason....
I agree. There has to be interest. i mean my neice goes to a Chinese immersion school in Chapel Hill NC. and had to enter a lottery to get in. I have to imagine that if there is interest there there would be interest here.
