Latex is the way to go! My full latex mattress, while pricey, is something that I am grateful for every single day--best purchase ever! I'm 61 and always a bit stiff--I feel none of the stiffness as soon as I lie on my bed. Are you in the DC area? If so, I can give you more info about where I bought my mattress and what the exact model name is. [/quote]

I'm the PP with the latex topper (56 and same experience!) and I'd love to know the local details of your mattress, PP, since I'm going to be doing some bed-shuffling soon and will be ready to go full latex.
