[quote=Anonymous]Hello, I am writing because I hope someone has had a similar experience and can suggest if I can ask for a refund. My daughter has been taking piano lessons at an academy for 4 years. She practices every Sunday for 2 hours. We have paid for the whole school year already. If she misses a class, she can make up the next Sunday at the earlier class, doing back to back classes. The academy has classes M, W, F, Sa, Sun. A bit over a month ago we received an email from the academy letting us know that the Sunday teacher had to unexpectedly stop teaching so they will not have Sunday classes anymore, and to let us know we had to pick a different time slot. Really none of the times work for us, but we picked Saturday since she likes her classes, and we hoped we could make it work. Well, we can't. She also plays 2 sports, one of them a travel sport, and she has now missed music lessons and will probably miss many more. She cannot make-up during the week because she has school and practice. I want to ask for a refund for the rest of the school year. I feel I should be able to get a refund, since they are the ones that changed the schedule. I appreciate any guidance/shared experiences!
