Agree that it's reasonable to ask for a refund. If you've enjoyed the academy, mention that you would want to return if they got another Sunday teacher.

We got a refund for similar when the teacher left and we couldn’t make the other times offered. Ask. It’s reasonable.

Yes, you should be able to get a refund, because they're responsible for getting a teacher to teach at the dates and times agreed upon.

Yes, I think it's reasonable to ask for a refund under those circumstances. They didn't hold up their end of the bargain.
I would maybe start with "we can't attend the other classes. Will you be hiring a new Sunday teacher?" and if the answer is no, then ask for the refund.

yes I think you should be able to get a refund, maybe not a full one depending on their rules. Ask the company,they should be able to give you any further details

Just ask for a refund. Tell them what you said here. You try to make Saturday’s work but your classes on Sunday were canceled and you would like a refund for the rest of the year..

Hello,
I am writing because I hope someone has had a similar experience and can suggest if I can ask for a refund. My daughter has been taking piano lessons at an academy for 4 years. She practices every Sunday for 2 hours. We have paid for the whole school year already. If she misses a class, she can make up the next Sunday at the earlier class, doing back to back classes. The academy has classes M, W, F, Sa, Sun. A bit over a month ago we received an email from the academy letting us know that the Sunday teacher had to unexpectedly stop teaching so they will not have Sunday classes anymore, and to let us know we had to pick a different time slot. Really none of the times work for us, but we picked Saturday since she likes her classes, and we hoped we could make it work. Well, we can't. She also plays 2 sports, one of them a travel sport, and she has now missed music lessons and will probably miss many more. She cannot make-up during the week because she has school and practice. I want to ask for a refund for the rest of the school year. I feel I should be able to get a refund, since they are the ones that changed the schedule.
I appreciate any guidance/shared experiences!
