They are most likely trying things out and seeing how it goes. You will have to watch out for cross contamination in things like oats and corn meal/flour. So only use thing ingredients that are labeled as gluten free ie Quaker Old Fashioned Oats can make them sick while Bob’s Red mill gluten free oats or Quaker Old Fashioned Oats gluten free will be okay.
