[/quote] I talked a bunch of my U13/U14 boys into getting certified and reffing a few years back and yes, it definitely helped them see the whole game better. We would talk about it, and they would watch how you can see the play developing and what's going to happen. The ones that reffed definitely got better at predicting the way the play is developing faster than the ones who didn't. They got better at making better runs, smarter decisions on the ball, and anticipating the other team's play.[/quote]
