[/quote] How is it being realistic? All White and Asian kids are not high performing academically; all Black kids are not economically deprived. Actually DC's open secret is the large number of MC and UNC Black kids in the parochial privates. Those families don't even look at DCPS. There are many ways to achieve a desired result, i.e. tutoring. If your kid is a star, they will shine and you get it done. Even private school parents find they have to supplement. If McKinley doesn't meet your needs, just move on. [/quote]
