This is blatantly racist. The idea that a school would be good enough for black and brown kids, but not good enough for white and asian kids is racist.
As to the stories about a school cheering on kids who score 3s on an AP exam, I think it's a good thing that they are supporting their students. Would you rather they shame kids who didn't get 5s? Not every kid is going to get a 5, and maybe that was a good score for that student. Do you think just because some students got a 3s, your child will also get a 3, as if it were catching? Look, if you don't want your kid to be at a school unless a certain threshold of the students is white or asian, then maybe this isn't the right school for you (at least not this year). But be honest about your reasons. Because the program itself is very impressive.
