We liked the tavern at Dobbins for lunch. We also had dinner at the Vietnamese place in town but it wasn't as good as places in the city. The dining room at the Best Western is actually pretty good and probably kid friendly.
There are a lot of funny shops with hats and Civil War stuff you cannot find anywhere else. There is probably a neat toy shop in town somewhere.
I have wanted to visit Cunningham Falls but I've never been. 
The Country Inn and Suites has an indoor pool. The Battlefield B&B is on a farm with animals and nice common areas & breakfast. The BW has jacuzzi fireplace suites that are not much more than the regular rooms.[/quote]
