I’m so sorry. My dh has that diagnosis too, but after working with a urologist, taking a prescription medication, and doing IVF with ICSI, he is the biological father of our two children. There are several different causes of azoospermia. Some are easier to treat than others. I know this is devastating and it seems hopeless, but the urologist may be able to help your husband, so don’t give up yet.
My DH had the same diagnosis, however, ours ended up being more of a functional issue and we did microTESE with IVF. It really depends on the cause of the azoospermia and the urologist will have experience in how to proceed. The reality (at the time) was incredibly overwhelming - so please be sure to take some time for yourself.
