I find it extremely odd that kids would want to carry the burden and then sit out for half a year.

Kids in VA play Fall ECNL and then Spring HS soccer. So what does a MD kid do?

Not allowed as that's against ECNL rules.  Can only be rostered by one ECNL team per year, unless "released" by one club (due to relocation, for example).[/quote]
