We are the “unvaccinated” family. My entire family has shunned us because we didn’t cut the line back at the beginning and rush out and get vaccinated. Doesn’t matter that I’m totally vaccinated and have been since spring. Their assumptions still stand. I find their behavior disgusting towards us and I hope when things die down they see how cruel they have been to our family. We are also choosing to wait to vaccinate our 13 year old son. Apparently that has given us a huge red mark and we are barred from all family gatherings inside or out. DHs family have a mix of vaccinated and unvaccinated and guess what? We see them all regardless of vaccine status. They are our family and we refuse to ostracize some over others. I honestly don’t understand how some of you can treat your own family like that. We will look back on this one day and be thankful we have each other.
I honestly don't understand how some family members would knowingly put children at risk.
I know - I guess they shouldn’t get in the car with Grandma or go swimming with their Uncle ever again. Those are some really risky behaviors!! Listen - my kids may or may not get covid. I know the risks and gasp - the science. You have a very unhealthy fear that is likely more toxic to your children’s well being than covid.
