[/quote] NP: Blue Air purifiers are not "True HEPAs", as recommended by true air quality experts like Richard Corsi. They also are ionizers which emit harmful particles into the air. The Illinois Institute of Technology Lab just tested the BlueAir 211, which APS bought, and confirmed that they are ionizers. Air quality experts have been pretty clear that people should buy true HEPAs and NOT anything with an ionizer. It's not the end of the world, as I guess they're better than nothing, but they're not as great as APS is making them seem and I've heard that APS is considering replacing them with true HEPAs.[/quote]
