I don't need or want uber liberal (I am an Independent), but yea, I was just saying to my spouse that anywhere pleasant and diverse is going to be expensive. I thought about Portland/Beaverton, but taxes seem a bit too high there for us to retire early. How do all these retirees deal with the FL humidity? Do older people tolerate humidity better? I'm 50, and still can't deal with the DC humidity. Would I be able to tolerate it better in my 60s/70s?[/quote]
