Kids from those clubs will get scouted and some will get invites to practise with the DCU Academy. Obviously DCU plays the local MLS Next clubs: Alexandria, SYC, Achilles, Bethesda, Baltimore Armour so they will definitely see these kids as well. They do also have tryouts - but that's a crapshoot if they do not already know the kid or his coach. I think you can also e-mail the academy and link to some game film to see if you can get a tryout at any time. It is possible to get there from a smaller club - but it doesn't happen often.[/quote]
