How many times did you test? Two options involving pregnancy: 1) it's taking a while for the HcG to get above the detection level of the test. The accuracy claims are based on 1-2 weeks after the missed period. Read the test instructions carefully and test again or email your OBGYN. 2) It could be a chemical pregnancy and the HcG is now below the level of detection and your period will start soon. For my chemical I got 2 positives and then several days of negatives before getting my period.
Same here.
OP here: yeah I had a chemical pregnancy last year and I also had a positive before it turned into a negative and then my period came. Since I didn’t even have a positive this time I’m not hopeful for a pregnancy, I just find it odd and am wondering whether I should go to an OBGYN (the thing I’m mostly afraid of is an ectopic, though I have cramps but no pain) and anything that would require a D&C. I don’t want to need one and not know.
