Lots of issues are at play, but guns are probably the biggest issue.

I’m all about gun control but the problem here is we have these housing projects and communities that perennially, (for decades!) produce dozens of young men who routinely shoot wildly at each other in the streets and terrorize the whole community. And the mothers and girlfriends and grandmothers who house and clothe them and buy and store their guns. Then those go to jail and another set take their place. [/quote]
