We have a 2020 RX350L which I love. The infotainment is fine, but between the touchscreen Apple Carplay and the physical climate controls I've never had to use the Lexus infotainment system.
I have a 2020 RX450H (similar to this poster but hybrid and not the long version). I agree 100%. You’ll use Apple CarPlay for virtually everything, like Google Maps, Spotify, etc. and CarPlay is great. Reviewers used to ding Lexus for the bizarre joystick they used to have for operating the old infotainment, but CarPlay uses the touchscreen so that’s no longer an issue. I will say that well-equipped (not base model) Audi, BMW and Mercedes have sexier more cutting edge infotainment. Audi’s Google Maps integration is really nice. But the trade-off is that they aren’t as reliable as Lexus and they cost more to repair. No regrets going with Lexus now that CarPlay is there.
