MCPS has not been able to close the Achievement Gap at all, so it is giving up on academics. Instead, my MS kid gets to read Stamped and talk about the ideals of the BLM movement. All while she didn’t even have to take the end of the year Algebra exam - because MCPS didn’t have enough time to teach the entire class. Yet somehow, plenty of time for Kendi. It’s much easier to make a big show of focusing on Equity than it is to ensure than kids learn Algebra. [/quote]
